在瑜伽學說中，OM是宇宙的原始音。透過修習瑜伽將感觀調整到更細緻，認識自己和周遭的環境。「OM．自身．瑜伽」將這些連結起來，就是OMIYOGA。「OMI」在日語是「おみ」、漢字能用上「弥」這個宇。「彌」帶著淡淡的禪意，很符合OMIYOGA追求的生活狀態，於是「彌」就成了OMIYOGA的中文名字。
